Emke Livestock

Emke & Wright Oxfords

Oxfords have been in the Emke family since 1889. Craig Emke started into the Oxford business when he was just 10 years old. He bought his first flock of 3 Oxford ewes off his grandfather Dan Emke.

Craig currenty operates with 60 registered purebred Oxford ewes, with most originating from the original Emke Brothers blood lines.

Oxfords our good mothers and provide plenty of milk for their lambs. Oxfords are easy keeping,  functional sheep. Oxford rams are good terminal sires.

In 2008 we purchased the Dow Flock to grow our numbers and introduce new genetics.

We are currently using some Rams from Lloyd Skinner Spring Hill Farm
